Question Deadline 10/09/2024 at 4:00 PM ET The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to complete the said project in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Proposal, the General Conditions, and the Special Conditions of the Contract, the Specifications and Contract Documents therefore as prepared for the Veterans Park Dam Removal and Streambank Stabilization Project GENERAL 1) The LFUCG request all potential contractors to make a concerted effort to include MinorityOwned (MBE), Woman-Owned (WBE), Disadvantaged (DBE) Business Enterprises and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) as subcontractors or suppliers in their bids. 2) Toward that end, the LFUCG has established 10% of total procurement costs as a Goal for participation of Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned and Disadvantaged Businesses on this contract. 3) It is therefore a request of each Bidder to include in its bid, the same goal (10%) for MWDBE participation and other requirements as outlined in this section. 4) The LFUCG has also established a 3% of total procurement costs as a Goal for participation for of Veteran-Owned Businesses. 5) It is therefore a request of each Bidder to include in its bid, the same goal (3%) for VeteranOwned participation and other requirements as outlined in this section.
