The Town of Atkinson, New Hampshire is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to replace a 5'-6' x 40' front entry ramp and replace a 4' x 80' dock/deck located along the pond at the rear of the Atkinson Community Centre. The Atkinson Community Centre is located at 4 Main Street, Atkinson, NH 03811. SCOPE OF WORK: Front Entry Ramp - 5'- 6" x 40'- 0" o Remove existing structure o Reconstruct with P.T. 2"x 8" joists - 12" O.C o Decking: 5/4" x 6" fiberon symmetry o Railing: Install upper and lower ADA compliant. Exterior handrails on both sides of ramp Dock / Deck - 4'- 0" x 80' - 0" o Remove existing structure o Reconstruct & replace PT 6" x 6" beams and PT 2" x 4" joists on the flat o Decking: 5/4" x 6" fiberon symmetry o Railing: PT 4" x 4" posts, PT 2"x 8" top plate, (4) PT 2"x 6" intermediate railings Contractor is solely responsible for all wages, Social Security, self-employment and income taxes, disability insurance, Workers' Compensation, and any other statutory benefits otherwise required to be provided to employees, and all fees and licenses, if any, required for the performance of the work set forth in this Contract. The Owner reserves the right to negotiate future Lump Sum clearing agreements for larger projects with the selected Contractor(s) or secure services from another Contractor if an agreement cannot be reached.
