Battery Park City Ballfields Turf Replacement: Contractor Services Location: Battery Park City Ball Fields Bpca Hereby Requests Proposals (Individually, a "proposal" and Collectively, the "proposals") From Construction Contractors (Individually, a "proposer," and Collectively, the "proposers") to Provide Bpca With Construction Contractor Services Necessary to Complete the Battery Park City ("bpc") Ballfields Turf Replacement Project (the "project" or the "work"). The Work Includes, but is Not Limited to, the Following Components, All of Which Shall Be Done in Accordance With the Scope of Work, and the Project's Drawings and Specifications (the "construction Documents"): Removal of Existing Turf and all of its component parts (including disposal in accordance with BPCA guidelines); Provision and installation of New Turf; Provision and installation of additional netting to protect seating / observation areas; Removal of existing water cannon and associated infrastructure; Removal of existing bioswale and replacement with additional square footage of turf material; Removal of trees and reduction of mulch bed, as shown in the Drawings; Replacement of existing pavers along the Ballfields pedestrian path with new permeable pavers; Provision and installation of weatherproof roofing in the dugouts; Repair of the two backstops; and, Provision and installation of new amenities, including batting cages and outfield fencing; and,. Furnish and install new electrical infrastructure for future installation of a scoreboard. The selected Proposer will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the Work. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Payment and Performance Bonds : A payment and performance bond will be required for this Project. Please provide a letter from your surety stating that you are able to provide both such bonds, as required in this RFP's Standard Form of Contract, attached as Exhibit F. Complete the Project for use by March 1 2026.
