The Project includes the following Work: Water Supply System Improvements: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for constructing approximately 5,237 linear feet of 4-inch waterline; 57 linear feet of 3-inch waterline; associated directional drill installation where necessary; 60 feet of 8-inch PVC encasement piping; valves; hydrants; connections to system; existing pipeline abandonment; grass seeding; surfacing; erosion control; well house improvements such as roof & door, mechanical, electrical, piping & chlorine system; well inspection services; and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. Alternates: Additional waterline; standby generator; additional electrical improvements; utility locator; and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the alternates as shown and specified. This project isfunded by a Kansas Department Health and Environment Revolving Loan (KPWSLF). Bidder's attention is called to the required compliance with KPWSLF funding requirements. Bidders on this work, including subcontractors or vendors, will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors are explained in the Bid Documents. Bidders on this work, including subcontractors or vendors, will be required to comply with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination (K.S.A. 44-1001 et.seq.) and the Kansas Age Discrimination in Employment Act (K.S.A. 44-1111 et.seq.). Bidders must fully comply with Subpart C of 2 CFR Part 180 and 2 CFR 1532, entitled Responsibilities of Participants Regarding Transactions. Contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers that appear on the Excluded Parties List System at www.sam.gov are not eligible for award of any contracts funded by the KDHE State Revolving Fund programs. All contracts and subcontracts exceeding $100,000, at any tier under a SRF Loan Agreement shall comply with the Anti-Lobbying Act, Section 319 of Public Law 101-121, and file an Anti-Lobbying Certification form, and the Disclosure of Lobbying Activities form, if required, to the next tier above. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
