Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Reference number: 20021162 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-10-10 This is phase 2 of the project to completely replace the cladding blocks, refurbish the windows and repair the concrete surfaces of the New Resident Hall (NRH) building. This phase will include work on the south and west facades. Specifically, the project will involve removal of the 4-inch-thick exterior concrete block and existing insulation. Once the concrete block support wall is exposed, a new air/vapour barrier will be installed, followed by masonry anchors installed on new structural supports. Exterior lighting work is also planned, as is the repair and rehabilitation of the aluminum sliding windows. Start of works: May 2025 End of works: November 2026
