Modesto Farm Labor Soffits. Davis-Bacon and/or State Prevailing Wage Rates: As may apply by statute, regulation or law, if, at any time during the ensuing contract period(s), Authority needs the successful Contractor to provide services that reguire the successful Contractor to pay Davis-Bacon or State Prevailing Wage Rates for a specific task order pertaining to the ensuing contract, then to compensate the successful Contractor for any amount when the applicable Davis- Bacon or State Prevailing Wage Rates are greater than the portion of the applicable hourly fees listed within that the Contractor actually pays to each such person performing the work, as verified by payroll records the Authority shall pay the difference. Description The Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority is requesting pricing for the following scope of work. Please provide a single lump sum quote for the entire scope of work, with each location priced separately based on wage specifications. The contractor should include all labor, equipment, clean up and materials required. After completion, the contractor must remove and dispose of all debris in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Payment for the invoice will not be processed until the Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority inspects and approves the satisfactory completion of the project. Locations: 201 Algen, Modesto 1601 Boise, Modesto 1541 W Hatch, Modesto If the contractor's bid is over $10,000, a certified check, or bank draft (payable to the Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority), U.S. Government bonds at par value or a bid bond secured by a surety company (authorized to do business in California) equal to five percent (5%) of the bid will be submitted with the bid. Additionally a non-collusive affidavit will be submitted with the contractor's bid. The Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority is requesting quotes for the following Scope of Work. Please provide a single lump sum bid for the entire project, with each location priced separately based on wage specifications. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary. The project should begin within 10 working days or as agreed upon. Contractor must submit changes orders in writing and receive approval prior to any additional work being conducted. After completion, the contractor must remove and dispose of all debris in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Payment for the invoice will not be processed until the Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority inspects and approves the satisfactory completion of the project. If the contractor's bid is over $10,000, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond for one hundred percent of the contract price or, as may be required by law, separate performance and payment bonds, each for fifty percent or more of the contract price, or a twenty percent cash escrow, or a twenty five percent irrevocable letter of credit. Scope of Work: Soffits are to be removed without damaging building and disposed of off-site. Contractor is to replace soffits with Hardie soffits fiber cement vented smooth panels (or equal). New installed soffits are to be painted (HA to pick color). The Authority reserves the right to issue modifications to this IFB at any time, award the proposed project to more than one firm, reject all proposals, and ask for any clarifications or verifications from Proposers at any time.
