WAILUA WWTP SCREW PUMP INSTALLATION COUNTY OF KAUA'I Bidders are further notified of the requirements of Act 190, SLH 2011, SB 758, wherein the County of Kaua'i is required to utilize the Hawai'i Compliance Express (HCE) to obtain proof of compliance with tax, registration, and labor requirements prior to the issuance of an award. Bidders are strongly encouraged to register via HCE to allow for needed proof of compliance prior to the issuance of an award. (HRS 103D-328, HRS 103D-310, HAR 3-122- 112). The purpose of this project is to remove and replace the existing screw pump with an in-kind replacement screw pump. The work is intended to be primarily mechanical in nature as the County intends to reuse the existing screw pump location and existing appurtenant structures. Accordingly, some of the instruction sections might not be applicable as this is anticipated to be a bolt-in type replacement and not necessarily a complete, new installation. Contractor to review installation plans and get written confirmation from the County. Any work outside of the scope of this contract shall be agreed to in writing via contract change order before any additional work will take place he Director of Finance reserves the right to cancel this Invitation for Bid or to reject any or all bids in whole or in part if deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
