Job Location: Williams Intermediate School 200 South Street Bridgewater, MA 02324 Project scope: The Bridgewater Raynham Regional School District is accepting bids for the replacement of shades located at the Williams Intermediate School, South Side of building Project Description: o Replacing current shades or blinds with custom dual roller shade with aluminum frame. o Color: White o Front of shade - 5% screen fabric o Back of shade - blackout fabric o Continuous loop cord on opposite sides to match existing shades/blind set up or equivalent product to be approved by Director of Facilities. o Work to be performed after 3pm, Monday - Friday or during school vacation weeks Bid submissions should include the following: o Cost of labor and material for removal/disposal of old shades o Confirmed measurements and installation of new shades o Mounting materials and shades to be supplied by the awarded company Wages: o Wages are subject to minimum wage rates determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149, Sec. 26 to 27H. Successful bidder will be required to pay the rates set out in any updated prevailing wage schedule. Increases in prevailing wage schedules will not be the basis for change order requests. Bid Deposits: o The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a certified check or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid to the Bridgewater Raynham Regional School District. Bidders are reminded that the bid deposit covers the District for damages when a bidder withdraws its bid after the bid submission date. Be advised that to the extent permitted by the Law the district will retain all bid deposits for withdrawn bids. Payment Bonds: o The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a 50% Payment Bond from a surety company approved by the District at the time of award.
