Seeking Sealed Bids for the Airport Snow Removal for the Runway and Other Areas 2024/25 Season The sealed bid shall include the vendor's name, amount of the proposal, and any relevant information. The snow removal season, for the purpose of this proposal is November 15, 2024, through April 15, 2025. The scope of the work that is required includes plowing the airport runway and other areas around the airport. The snow removal shall be completed as necessary to keep surfaces clear and passable during the periods of time specified in this agreement. This is understood to mean free of snow and ice that poses a danger or impediment to planes, vehicles, and pedestrians. It is understood that effective snow removal may require a combination of larger and smaller mechanical equipment. And shall not include salt on the runway or areas around airplanes. The Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment, to be employed in the performance of this contract, with respect to his/her hire, tenure, terms, conditions or privileges for employment because of his/her race, color, religion, national origin, or ancestry. Breach of this covenant may be regarded as a material breach of this contract. All vendors are expected to contact the Public Works Department if planning on submitting a sealed bid. Alternatively, the City Manager may reject all bids and seek new sealed, competitive bids solely at the discretion of the City of Charlotte, Michigan.
