A. Project Description o Total Project Budget is $62,253,023 M o Build a New 5-8 Perry Middle School to house approximately 1,230 students. The overall total 5-8 MS building is to be approximately 156,358 sf for 1,230 students. Total co-funded budget for this portion of the project is approximately $59.8M, not including LFIs. oThere are currently no anticipated LFI for this project. o Abatement & Demolition of the existing Pfeiffer Middle school (located at 4315 13th Street SW, Massillon, Ohio 44710) with a total co-funded budget of approximately $1.0 M. o Abatement & Demolition of the existing Edison JHS (located at 4201 13th Street SW, Massillon, Ohio 44710) with a total co-funded budget of approximately $1.4 M. o This project will follow LEED v4 criteria. o The district has already opted out of providing a Storm Shelter per the latest OBBC requirements. o The Architect/Engineer ("A/E") will prepare the POR for this project. B. Scope of Services Upon award of the Agreement, commence by developing the Program of Requirements. The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth& Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: Program Verification, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support, Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types.
