Renovation of a municipal facility in East Greenwich Township, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of November 26, 2024, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The project principally consists of removal and installation of the shingle roofing system. If shipping of Bid Documents is requested, bidders shall provide a direct shipping account number and provide a $25.00 (nonrefundable) fee for postage and handling. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, of which, the amount of the bond or certified check need not exceed $20,000, made payable to the GLOUCESTER COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY. All blank spaces in the proposal, except as otherwise noted, must be filled in; and no change shall be made in the phraseology of the proposals or of the item mentioned. All information that may be requested of the bidder in these specifications shall be included with this proposal. All erasures, interpolations, or other physical changes on the bid form shall be initialed or signed by the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All applicable surety bonds or LOC required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) and such surety company must be acceptable to the GCIA and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit. Public Disclosure, Chapter 33 of the Public Laws of 1977 provides that no corporation or partnership shall be awarded any State, County, Municipal or School District contract for the performance of any work or the furnishing of any materials or supplies, unless, prior to the receipt of the bid or accompanying the bid of said corporation or partnership there is submitted a statement. The statement shall set forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation or partnership who own 10% or more of its stock or any class, or of all individual partners in a partnership or other type of business or business entity who own a 10% or greater interest. FAILURE TO SUPPLY THIS INFORMATION WITH YOUR FORM OF PROPOSAL WILL BE CAUSE TO REJECT THE BID. The GCIA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the proposal received and to accept the bid which in their judgment will best serve the interests of the GCIA. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 laws against discrimination because of race, religion, sex, color, etc. The contractor is further notified that he must comply with P.L. 1999 c. 238 Public Works Contractor Registration Act and he and any subcontractors must be registered in accordance with this act. The contractor is also further notified that he must comply with P.L. 2004 c. 57 and submit proof of a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and submit proof of business registration for any named subcontractors in accordance with the act. This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. Bids must be prepared on the standard proposal forms provided, in the manner designated therein. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and labeled "Gloucester County Improvement Authority Shady Lane Nursing Home Roof Replacement" and shall be addressed to the Gloucester County Improvement Authority c/o Mario Christina, 109 Budd Blvd., Woodbury, New Jersey 08096. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
