Site work for a communication facility in Denton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.

1. Furnish And Install Materials For The Communications Infrastructure Systems As Specified Herein And As Shown On The Drawings. Upon Completion, The Systems Shall Be Functioning Systems In Compliance With Performance Requirements And Warranties As Specified. 2. Wiring Utilized For Data And Analog Communications Will Originate At Existing Owner Provided Telecommunications Equipment And In Existing Or New Equipment Racks Located At The IDF. Wiring, Terminations And Patch Bays Between These Designated Demarcation Points And Outlet Locations Designated On The Plans Will Be Considered Part Of The Contract. Work Area Outlets (WAO) Will Be Furnished, Wired And Installed By The System Contractor. 3. The System Will Utilize A Network Of Unshielded Twisted Pair Station Cables And Fiber Optic Backbone. Cables And Terminations Will Be Provided By The Contractor And Located As Shown And In The Quantities Indicated On The Drawings. 4. All Cables And Terminations Will Be Identified At All Locations. 5. All Cables Will Terminate In A District Approved Scheme At All Termination Locations. 6. All Copper Cable Terminations Will Comply With ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B Standards For Category 6 (Cat 6) And Augmented Category 6 (CAT 6A) Installations. 7. Contractor Is Required To Submit Project Documentation Upon Completion Of Installation. The Documentation Is Essential For Timely Implementation Of Communication Systems. Documentation Includes But May Not Be Limited To All Test Documentation And All Record Drawings (as-builts). 8. Station Cables Will Terminate On One, Two Or Three Gang Wall Plates Equipped As Shown On The Drawings. 9. Between The MDF And Each IDF, Provide And Install The Following: A. 12-strand Single Mode Armored Fiber, As Described In This Specification B. 24-strand OM3 Multimode Armored Fiber, As Described In This Specification C. Grounding Cable, Attached To Appropriate TGBB And MTGBB In The IDF And MDF Rooms. This Grounding System Is To Be All-new Installation. Connect The MTGBB In The MDF To Structural Steel Or Other DISD-specified Grounding Location. 10. Between The MDF And The "first" Portable On That Schools Campus, Install One 12- Strand Single Mode Indoor/outdoor, As Described In This Specification. 11. Between The MDF And The Identified Campus Building Or Facility, Install One 12-strand Single Mode Indoor/outdoor, As Described In This Specification. 12. NOTE: All Splices To Fiber Optic Cables And Connectors Shall Be Completed Through The Fusion Splice Method. No Mechanical Or Manual Splices Are Permitted. 13. Additional, Site-specific Details Are Noted On The Project Drawings For That Specific Location. Question Deadline 10/11/2024 at 12:00 PM CT
