HVAC System Modifications & Upgrades for Building A involving all Floors at 150 Disco RD Architectural: Replacement of ceiling tiles with new where damaged. Cutting, patching and painting of existing drywall bulkhead to allow replacement of ductwork on 1st and 2nd floors. Cut open, re-patching and re-painting of existing furred out column in 2nd floor boardroom to allow HVAC ductwork modification. Construct a new furred out column in 2nd floor boardroom for new vertical return air duct down to ground floor. Provide new floor opening with fire damper. Provide new access panel. Provide all necessary X-ray and coring as required by all trades. o HVAC: Install a new HRV unit (with ductwork, insulation, grilles, electric heating coil, etc.) in basement mechanical room. Revisions to diffusers, air grilles, ductwork in basement, and on 1st and 2nd floors. Replace existing fan heater and add a new fan heater in elevator shaft complete with new interlocking control with existing rooftop unit. Provide new bypass box and modulating square diffusers on 2nd floor. Air balance all diffusers and air grilles in basement and on 1st and 2nd floors. o Plumbing: Replace existing hot water tank with exact same model in basement and rerouting of piping. o Electrical: Relocation of existing lights in basement. Disconnect and reconnect hot water tank power connection to allow replacement of hot water tank. Provide new power feeds to new HRV unit and electric reheat coil in basement, to new flow heaters in elevator shaft, to HVAC controls, and to new modulating diffusers and new bypass box on 2nd floor. Provide conduits for HVAC controls wiring. o Structural: Fill one existing chimney in basement. Provide a new opening at the south perimeter wall in basement for the new HVAC exhaust duct.
