Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Wellington, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,601-square-foot religious / funeral development.

The Mausoleum roof at 1500 E Harvey Ave consists of approximately 2,500 sq. ft. of modified asphalt roofing over an unknown roofing system. The City is seeking bids to remove and replace the roof with the following specs: Tear off existing roof system to roof decking Repair any damaged roof decking Install ISO board Install new roofing system, as per manufacturer specifications, extending up the parapet and under the parapet cap (preference is either a TPO, or EPDM roofing system) Inspect and replace vents as needed Seal around all penetrations with new flashing and according to manufacturer's specifications Install new commercial grade parapet cap on parapet -18 gauge minimum Install new commercial roof scuppers (2) with overflows and minimum 5 inch commercial downspouts (2) terminating 4 inches above grade All sheet metal to be dark bronze in color matching Mausoleum doors as close as possible The Campanile roof (interior access area) at 1500 E Harvey consists of approxjmateJy 101 sq. fl. of modified asphalt roofing. The City is seeking bids to remove and replace the roof with the following specs: Tear off existing roof system to roof decking Repair any damaged roof decking Install ISO board Install new roofing system, as per manufacturer specifications, extending up the interior walls a minimum of 12 inches above the roof terminating under an appropriate termination bar and extending under the parapet cap on the parapet (preference is either a TPO, or EPDM roofing system) Install new commercial parapet cap on the parapet -18 gauge minimum Install a new roof scupper (1) with overflow with a minimum 4' downspout (1) terminating 4 inches above grade Ail sheet metal to be dark bronze in color matching Mausoleum doors as close as possible Option 1 : Relocate the Campanile roof scupper and downspout to the location indicated by the Cemetery Sexton. Material disposal at the Wellington Landfill will be at no charge to the contractor for this project. The Contractor is responsible for field measurements, verifying the type(s) and number of layers of the existing roof systems to the roof deck, and documenting the number of penetrations. All care shall be taken to protect the buildings and surrounding areas from damage Due to the nature and use of the buildings all drainage shall be directed to the roof scuppers and any ponding of water will not be allowed. Current City of Wellington Class D Contractors License (or higher) along with the required Insurance Certificate shall be on file in the City Building & Codes Office. State registration license is also required
