Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed project officially known as Moss Avenue Reconstruction includes reconstruction of 1.1 miles of Moss Avenue between Western Avenue and Sheridan Road. The work includes installation of 6,310 feet of 8" watermain; 5,430 linear feet of storm sewers; 71 drainage structures; 26,900 square feet of porous concrete pavers as a parking lane; 2,180 square yards of concrete driveway aprons; 20,000 square feet of sidewalk replacement; 11,930 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter; 6,700 tons of asphalt pavement; and all the appurtenant aggregates, removals, traffic control, and restoration. i. Proposed improvement is officially known as Moss Avenue Reconstruction. ii. The proposed improvement consists of reconstruction of Moss Avenue between Western Avenue and Sheridan Road. The work will include 8" watermain, storm sewers, inlets, manholes, porous concrete pavers as a parking lane, concrete driveway aprons, some sidewalk replacement, concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt pavement. Before plans and specifications are delivered, contractors must be pre-qualified. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. Prime Contractors have an obligation to make a good faith effort to advance the City's commitment to increase diversity among the firms working on City construction projects. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. 1. Eighteen (18) percent of the total hours worked, per trade, should be performed by minority workers. 2. Three (3) percent of the total hours worked, per trade,should be performed by female workers. Work shall be completed by November 20, 2026
