Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a playground / park / athletic field in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Fruitridge Park Restoration & Expansion Project scope of work includes renovation of an existing approximately 12.5-acre park including provision and maintenance of temporary security fencing, the demolition and removal of existing site features and furnishings including, but not limited to, various site paving, fencing, sports lighting, utilities, play equipment (alternate), landscape and irrigation. Once demolition is completed, the improvements as shown on the plans will include, but not be limited to, new paving and walkways throughout the site, new pool deck paving, new curbing, new signage and striping, new electric vehicle charging stations, installation of shade structures, a full court basketball court with sport lighting, a futsal court with sport lighting, new fenced portable toilet enclosure, a new community garden, new exercise equipment, site furnishings, new trash enclosure structure, new site utility systems (sewer, storm water, water, and electrical), renovation of existing site utility systems, new site and parking lot lighting, rough and finish grading, temporary erosion control measures and storm water BMPs, new landscaping. bioretention planters and vegetative swales, boulder installation, and new irrigation system improvements. The project also includes work to be overseen by the Contractor and performed by project partners which include the Conservation Corps and described in Section 00400, Section 013100, and on drawing number LC2. Please see the plans and technical specifications for the additional information regarding the project scope. The work consists, in general, of furnishing all permits, materials, labor, services, tools, plants, supplies, equipment, management, superintendence, and all other work necessary to provide for the Fruitridge Park Restoration & Expansion Project. The estimate for the project base bid without contingency is $7,084,230.35. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a Certificate of Deposit, Certified or Cashier's Check, Bidder's Bond or Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Bidder's Grand Total Bid Price.
