Skanska has been selected as the construction manager by the School Board of Lee County for the Cypress Lake High School, HVAC Renovations. The project consists of building a new Central Energy Plant on the existing campus. The central energy plant features a shallow spread footing foundation system, load-bearing masonry with stucco veneer, a modified bitumen roof system, and various finishes. HVAC system upgrades will be implemented throughout the existing campus, along with new equipment installations to enhance efficiency and performance. Electrical system work includes updates in existing buildings and the Central Energy Plant area, incorporating a gear package for improved reliability. The site work involves demolition, utility installations, asphalt paving, grading, and earthwork to support these enhancements.
