A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The purpose of this Bid is to solicit competitive bids from Contractors to provide the construction services necessary to complete the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center (JRTC) restroom project on the bus platform. The project intent is to construct a two-stall, sideby-side restroom facility at the end of the JRTC bus platform. Each Bid must contain a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Treasurer's Check, and/or Official Bank Check. The Bid Security shall be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid price. A Bid Bond must be issued by a fully qualified Surety company, both acceptable to the Authority and listed as a company currently authorized under 31 CFR, Part 223 as possessing a Certificate of Authority as described thereunder. In submitting this Bid, the Bidder understands and agrees that the Bid may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of Bids, without the written consent of the Authority. The Authority will require additional Performance and Payment Bond protection if the Contract price is increased. The increase in protection shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the increase in Contract price. The Bidder will be responsible for issuing the additional bonding protection within ten (10) days upon the full execution of the contract amendment in which the Contract price is increased. The DBE/SBE participation goal for this Contract is 10%. The Contract shall commence upon the Authority's issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) and shall achieve Substantial Completion within three hundred sixty-six (366) Calendar Days of the NTP.
