Renovation of a water / sewer project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project planning phase includes evaluating the proposed relocation of the existing force main, and/or force main system redundancy improvements, and work at the pump station that may be needed to provide compatibility with the force main work, and capacity for anticipated future flows. The project may include improvements to system reliability, and spill contingency plan improvements recommended for the force main system. As of September 9, 2025, this project is included in the City and County of Honolulu's Fiscal Year 2025 -2030 CIP and funding for construction is allocated for FY 2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
