Renovation of a parking garage in Birmingham, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 57,500-square-foot parking garage.

The Birmingham Airport Authority (the "Authority") is requesting quotes for painting the Helix in the Parking Deck. The purpose of this document (the "Request for Quotes" or "RFQ") is to provide interested vendors with the overview of the opportunity, as well as instructions on how to respond. A prospective ("Proponent") shall submit its quote ("Quote" or Quote Package") in conformity with the procedures and requirements set in this Request for Quotes. Scope of Work :Prep and paint all piping, louvers, down spouts, gutters, walls, columns and doors of the Helix. o Pressure wash walls and ceiling. o Repair all spots that need repairing with hydraulic cement on the walls and where the walls meet the ceiling. o Touch up ceiling where needed. o Paint inner walls approximately 29000 sq ft. o Outer wall including both sides is approximately 21000 sq ft. o Columns along inner wall approximately 7500 sq ft. o Contractor is to provide everything except paint. o Contractor is responsible for taping, and containment of overspray, dust etc. to protect the passenger's vehicles in the parking deck and surrounding areas. o Work is to be performed after hours. o Work areas will need to be cleaned up daily. Inquiries relative to this RFQ are only to be submitted in writing via e-mail to eseoane@flybhm.com, no later than the date for "Written Inquiries Accepted Through" set due date of October 11, 2024 (the "Quote Due Date"). Failure to follow this procedure may result in the Proponent being disqualified from participating in this RFQ process. The Authority representative(s) will attempt to answer all written questions received in advance of the Written Inquiries Accepted Through date. The Authority will provide a summary of all questions and answers communicated in writing and any changes to the requirements of the Request for Quotes in an addendum to the RFQ. Any such addendum will be incorporated as part of the RFQ and will be posted on-line Written Inquiries Accepted Through October 4, 2024 Target Award Date October 2024
