1) The State of California (State), Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) manages, maintains and operates state buildings and grounds statewide, pursuant to Government Code Section 14685 (a), which authorizes DGS to establish rules and regulations for the government and maintenance of state buildings and grounds. FMD, Direct Construction Unit (DCU) is procuring crane services for on-roof removal and placement of an air handler and chillers. 2) The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, permits, insurance, transportation, travel and per diem, pay all taxes and every other item of expense required to provide Crane Services and removal of equipment at the various FMD locations and State buildings in the Sacramento area on an as-needed basis as described in the Sample Standard Agreement (Std. 213) and Exhibits, IFB Attachment 10. Written Question Submission Deadline September 23, 2024 Questions and Answers to be Posted September 26, 2024 Bidders requiring clarification of the intent or content of this IFB, or on procedural matters regarding the competitive procurement process, may request clarification by submitting questions in writing. Bidders may submit questions to the Acquisition Analyst listed on the Notice to Prospective Bidders via email or via U.S. mail. The State anticipates a 36-month term for this Agreement.
