Reference Number : 0000364018 The work of this 95 calendar day project consists, in general, of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services and supervision required to demolish Building J (Quonset Hut), including, but not limited to: building demolition, removing and legally disposing of demolition materials (includes abating hazardous materials), capping and relocating utilities; site grading, fencing; gate installation; and performing all associated work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. Job Location 1 Airport Drive Oakland, California United States 94621 License, DIR Requirements, and CARB Certification: A California Class C-21 contractor's license is required prior to award of this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. The Bidder or Bidder's Subcontractor who performs asbestos abatement shall possess Cal/OSHA registration and State Contractors Asbestos Certification. Bonding Requirements: A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required for this contract. Wage Rates: The Contractor and all subcontractors shall pay their employees in the performance of labor under this Contract salaries or wages at least equal to the general prevailing wage rates, as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, whichever is higher, for the particular crafts, classifications or types of workers employed on the project, which are in effect at the time of advertising for bids.
