Location: Dixon Correctional Institute Compound 2 - Tower 11 5568 Highway 68 Jackson, LA 70748 Description The Contractor shall provide all labor and materials in order to repair the damages to the roof of Tower 11 at Dixon Correctional Institute for the Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC) as per Attachment C - Specifications. o The Contractor shall remove the existing roof system damaged from the storm event. o The Contractor shall install new 2" by 6" wood nailer as needed around perimeter. o The Contractor shall fully adhere new Poly ISO 1 insulation to level of new wood nailer. o The Contractor shall fully adhere new 60 mm TPO over the new insulation as per industry standards. o The Contractor shall install new stainless steel edge metal and strip into the new TPO as per industry standards. o All Debris generated shall be removed from the property and disposed of in an approved land fill. o See Attachment D - Pictures of Damage - Pages 1-2 for more information Materials Description: Approximate QTY: o R&R Fiberboard (or equal)- 1" 360.00 SF o R&R Modified bitumen roof (or equal) 3.62 SQ o R&R Sheathing - plywood - 1/2 " CDX (or equal) 362.00 SF o R&R Cap flashing (or equal) 69.27 LF o R&R 2" x 6" lumber (1BF per LF) (or equal) 69.27 LF Perimeter nailer around roof For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check) must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of 5% of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation.
