The construction to be performed under this Contract will be situated in the City of Henderson, Nevada, where shown on the drawings. This work shall include approximately the following: The installation of twenty-four (24) AVAR (Air Vacuum / Air Relief Valves) devices at various locations in the CITY in need of replacement and/or upgrade. Work at the sites includes removal and salvage of existing AVARs, and removal of associated laterals and vaults. Work includes installation of 2 and 4 AVAR assemblies including, but not limited to, approximately 885 linear feet of 4 DIP with restrained joints and approximately 65 linear feet of 6 DIP with restrained joints, 6 gate valves, connections to water mains with tapping sleeves, and 12 and 24 AVAR vent enclosures. Work within the project limits includes placement of easement survey markers and all other associated potholing, trenching, backfilling, line marking, patching or replacing pavement and/or concrete, and other improvement items as shown on the bid schedule, drawings, and specified in the Bid Documents. The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of the following: Furnishing all plant, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles; Furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications; and Furnishing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents Question Deadline 10/15/2024 at 4:00 PM PT
