Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a fire / police facility in Lakeville, Minnesota. Design plans call for the construction of a 43,100-square-foot, two-story above grade, seven-space fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; for outdoor lighting for a fire / police facility; and for paving for a fire / police facility.
Plans call n for a new combined fire station intended to consolidate Stations 2 and 4. The proposed facility includes seven apparatus bays, a training tower and mezzanine (roughly 4,100 square feet of second-floor training/storage) and a first-floor program of about 39,000 square feet that combines public classroom spaces, administrative offices and cold/hot zones for firefighter health and decontamination. As of May 1, 2026, the project is in design. Construction is planned to begin in summer 2026, with substantial completion fall 2027.
