The successful proposer will provide design and construction services to complete the required renovations to the Transfer Station. Field data that was previously developed will be shared with the proposers to assist with development of the proposer. The required renovations and previously developed information are outlined below. The renovation option selected by Dillon County includes but is not limited to the following scope Demolish existing metal building. Install new footings to the north of the existing retaining wall. Install new footings to the south of the existing rear wall of the existing building. This series of footings may require undercutting and repair in order to obtain sufficient bearing capacities. Install a new metal building over the existing pad and loading tunnel. The ridge line of this new building will be oriented on an east- west axis. Remove a portion of the existing floor along the top of the tunnel wall. Install a new concrete push ramp that raises the tipping floor elevation sufficiently to be above the trailer. Install a fabricated metal edge that is integral to the concrete push ramp. This edge will extend over the top of the trailers. Install a curb in the loading tunnel to provide separation between the wall and the trailers. Provide floor overlay to act as wearing surface on the tipping floor. Provide an alternate for a concrete wall on the outside of the loading tunnel to protect the new building, Provide a method within the building to direct waste into the trailer on the outside of the loading tunnel. Correct site grading in the vicinity of the loading tunnel to direct stormwater away from loading tunnel. Provide method of removing leachate from the loading tunnel. Provide 1 " hose connections to allow floor washdown.
