hauling of approximately 50 tons per day of solid waste from the City of Fredericktown Solid Waste Transfer Station to Waste Management of IL, Inc.-Cottonwood Hills Landfill This advertisement is for hauling only, to include furnishing all hauling equipment and labor. Trailers must be equipped with a method to determine accurate load weights. The City will pay the disposal fee. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the City of Fredericktown, in the amount of $1,000.00 as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into for a period from November 1, 2024 to March 31, 2027. Acceptable Performance Bond must be filed within ten (10) days after the award is made. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The City of Fredericktown reserves the right to waive any formalities or irregularities, to reject any or all bids, to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids and to negotiate contract terms with the one that in the judgment of the Board of Aldermen is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
