Renovation of a mixed-use development in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
https://midhudsonnews.com/2024/11/12/poughkeepsie-schools-create-new-capital-project-fund/ Poughkeepsie schools create new capital project fund POUGHKEEPSIE – The Poughkeepsie City School District Board of Education (BOE) recently approved the creation of a $12 million capital reserve fund to complement existing capital improvement projects and future projects including the Jane Bolin Building Project. The $12 million fund, according to the district, will translate to approximately $30 million in building upgrades, depending on the application of state aid, and will help fund the ongoing Strong Schools Equal Strong Communities Capital Improvement Project. The fund was created by combining various unassigned excess funds without taking money away from any existing programs, projects, or services. The district is currently making more than $120 million in improvements and construction to improve the safety of district buildings and upgrade the facilities. Future district plans include the creation of innovation labs in school buildings, renovating the high and middle schools’ auditoriums, and repairing the middle school pool. “We’re transforming our schools into 21st-century learning environments to elevate and encourage student success for years to come,” Dr. Eric Jay Rosser, superintendent of schools, said. -------------- THE POUGHKEEPSIE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT INVITES BIDS FOR "POUGHKEEPSIE CSD - PHASE 3 BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS" PROJECT. 1.01 PROJECT INFORMATION A.
