Project-specific bid package (Pkg 2F and 2G) and preliminary budget: Pkg 2F: BP-14A Elevators - $2,236,890 BP-21A Fire Protection - $1,299,214 BP-23A Mechanical Equipment - $2,982,000 BP-26A Generator and ATS Electrical Equipment - $625,800 BP-26F Switchgear and Transformers Electrical Equipment - $450,000 Pkg 2G: BP-01H Tower Crane - $1,332,000 BP-01A General Trades (Crane Foundation, Fencing, Site Logistics) - $120,000 BP-01D Site Demolition and Erosion Control - $980,884 BP-01E Building Demo - $2,906,935 BP-05A Structural Steel/Stairs/Misc. Steel - $8,083,800 BP-08G Curtainwall and Doors - $9,407,741 BP-31F Shoring Systems (Micropiles) - $401,885 **Anticipated bid documents will be released in November 2024, with an anticipated bid of December 2024 for Pkg 2F and February 2025 for Pkg 2G. **Submittals for prequalification forms may be hand-delivered, mailed, or submitted electronically. **The deadline for prequalification is ten days before the bid date; however, prompt response is preferred. **Mailed or hand-delivered submittals shall go to the following address: Matthew Emma. Barnhill-Balfour Beatty-Holt Brothers, North Carolina Museum of History, a Joint Venture, has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for this project and will receive bids from and contract with the principal and specialty contractors to execute the work. - Historically Underutilized Businesses are encouraged to participate; however, the firm must be certified by the Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB Office) through the Statewide Uniform Certification (SWUC) program. You may begin the certification process at the following website: http://www.doa.nc.gov/hub/ - Similar project experience will be considered during prequalification. The CMAR and Owner reserve the right to reject any Pre-qualifications. The contracting method will be through a Competitive Public Bid under Chapter 143 of the NC General Statues.
