North Platte WRRF - Equipment Package #2. Included by reference are equipment item specific technical specifications and drawings described in the table below. The scope for Equipment Procurement is described in the following section. The Bidder proposes and agrees, if this Bid is accepted, to enter into a Contract with Owner to furnish the Goods and Special Services as specified or indicated in the Bidding Documents, for the prices and within the times indicated in this Bid, and in accordance with the other terms and conditions of the Bidding Documents. Bidder accepts all of the terms and conditions of the Instructions to Bidders, including without limitation those dealing with the disposition of Bid security. This Bid will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the Bid opening, or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Buyer. It is not intended that a single Bidder will be responsible for providing all identified equipment, only elements that are within Bidder's expertise. The following summarizes equipment within this bidding scope, referenced equipment specifications/drawings, and entity responsible for installation A visit to the project site is not required. The detailed work and quantities thereof, for the above mentioned work, are included in the complete specifications and plans for the project. Generally, the bid request is for wastewater treatment equipment for an Industrial Wastewater Plant. All bids must be made up on the forms provided by the City of North Platte and must be legibly written in ink or typewritten. Only one bid is allowed per bidder. No alterations in the proposal by erasures or interlineations will be permitted unless initialed by the bidder. Bids made up on blanks other than those furnished by the City will be rejected. The City of North Platte reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all informalities in any proposal. The City of North Platte reserves the sole right to determine the type of equipment and material which will serve its best interests, based on its own comparative estimates, and on its own evaluation of the same, and award contract accordingly. Any changes to the contract that will have a negative financial impact to the Owner, the Bidder is to communicate the change request in writing. The contractor is not authorized to do any work without approval from the Owner. When the contractor notifies the Owner of a change from the original contract, they must provide a cost break down of additional expected charges. The Contractor must use the same forms as was used in the original bid document. If the Owner approves the change request, Owner will provide Change Order for the work; this will be the approval process. The Owner will not accept any charges without prior approval. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Actual award of the contract is contingent upon execution of formal documentation that is satisfactory to both parties. Should you not wish to submit a bid, all bid proposal material shall remain confidential, and you are required to return all bid proposal material within one week of receipt of same.
