Route 287, Durham Avenue to Route 28, Contract No. 006243280, Pavement Preservation, Borough of South Plainfield, Townships of Piscataway, Franklin, and Bridgewater, Counties of Middlesex and Somerset; Federal Project No: 0287(363), UPC No: 243280, PE No: 2207030, CE No: 1231529 Estimated Completion Date on 11/25/2025 Estimated Range between $10,000,001 to $20,000,000 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 2, 2b, 3, 3a, or 5 Project Labor Agreement Required: No The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 656,520 Lf Traffic Stripes, Latex, Various Size 161,316 Sy Micro-milling 4,500 Sy Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement Repair 300,000 Lf Polymerized Joint Adhesive 149,245 Gal Tack Coat 28,800 T High Performance Thin Overlay 120,000 Lf Micropaving Joints 122,000 Lf Rumble Strip 197,000 Lf Removal of Traffic Stripes 2,339 Sy Stabilized Turf Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning The Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date Stated Above. DOT reserves its right to reject any or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33.
