Site work for a water / sewer project in East Watertown, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of October 31, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Every request for interpretation should be in writing and sent via email to Mahoney.Carolyn@wseinc.com and Purchasing@watertown-ma.gov and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. The scope of work includes the replacement of the 6-inch cast iron water main on Cottage Street, Sawin Street, Rifle Court, Lyons Street, Sexton Street, Hearn Street, Cottage Lane, and Molloy Street with approximately 3,220 linear-feet of 8-inch ductile iron. The project will remove the existing 6-inch cast iron water main and place the new 8-inch ductile iron water main in the trench of the existing water main, including temporary piping, hydrants, valves, fittings, replacement of water services and all other appurtenances. The proposed work will occur within narrow roadways. Project Cottage Street Water Main Replacement Project.
