A timeline for construction has not yet been established.” Reference Number 0000364393 Job Location: 165 S Main Street, Elizabeth, CO 80107 Project Summary: The Town of Elizabeth is accepting Proposals from qualified firms to provide services including the completion of design (based on existing 60% design drawings), fabrication and installation of one (1) archway sign to be placed over Main Street at its intersection with Kiowa Avenue/Colorado Highway 86. The project will take place entirely within the Town's right-of-way and will be coordinated with the ongoing Main Street Streetscape project. The Historic Main Street Archway Sign project is a key component of Elizabeth's downtown revitalization initiative, coordinating with the ongoing Main Street Streetscape project. The streetscape improvements, spanning from Kiowa Avenue/CO-86 to E. Walnut Street, include: New curb, gutter, and widened sidewalks Intersection bulb-outs and floating concrete curb extensions Storm drain improvements Enhanced landscaping and irrigation systems New streetlighting infrastructure Improved pedestrian crossings and ADA-compliant features SCOPE OF WORK 1. The Town of Elizabeth is soliciting Proposals from qualified Contractors to provide the design completion, fabrication and installation of one (1) archway sign to be placed over Main Street at its intersection with Kiowa Avenue/Colorado Highway 86. The project will be executed entirely within the Town's right-of-way. 2. DHM Designs has already completed 60% of the design work for the archway sign, which has been reviewed and accepted through public workshops. The selected Contractor will be responsible for reviewing these designs, providing feedback, and completing the design process while maintaining the core elements that have gained public approval. 3. The archway sign is designed to serve as a gateway feature, welcoming visitors to the Historic Main Street district. It should be visually appealing, durable, and reflective of Elizabeth's historical character and western heritage, in line with the approved concept. 4. The selected Contractor will: a. Review and provide feedback on the existing 60% design drawings by DHM Designs. b. Complete the design process, including any necessary refinements that align with the approved concept. c. Ensure the archway design complements and integrates with the new streetscape elements. d. Prepare final construction drawings and specifications based on the approved 60% design. e. Provide detailed cost estimates and a lump sum price for the fabrication and installation. f. Fabricate all components of the approved sign design. g. Install the archway sign, including all necessary site preparation and foundation work. h. Coordinate closely with the Town and the Streetscape project team for any necessary road closures or traffic management. i. Ensure all designs and installation comply with relevant traffic safety standards and regulations for overhead structures. 5. Upon acceptance of the final design by the Town, the Contractor shall: a. Prepare a detailed construction budget for review. b. Prepare a detailed construction timeline for Town approval, coordinated with the Main Street Streetscape project timeline. c. Obtain all necessary permits and approvals, including any required by CDOT due to proximity to CO-86. 6. The final design, construction drawings, and construction budget must be approved by the Town, and authorization to proceed provided to the Contractor in writing, prior to commencement of fabrication or ordering of materials. 7.
