Following the completion of sand placement projects in St. Johns County, escarpment remediation is the County's responsibility. Escarpments are defined as a length of beach that exceeds 18 inches in height for a distance of at least 100 feet or more and have persisted for more than two weeks. Any and all questions related to this project shall be directed, in writing, to the Designated Point of Contact. Questions are due no later than Four o'clock (4:00PM) EDST on Monday, October 14, 2024, so that any necessary addenda may be issued in a timely manner. Any questions received after the deadline will not be answered unless previously approved by the SJC Purchasing Manager or other designated County Representative. An interpretation, correction or change of the IFB Documents will be made by Addendum. Interpretations, corrections, or changes of the IFB Documents made in any other manner will not be binding, and Bidders must not rely upon such interpretations, corrections, or changes. No change will be made to the IFB Documents by the County less than seven (7) days prior to the submittal deadline for IFBs. The County, however, reserves the right to issue addendums at any time prior to the submittal deadline for IFBs in order to serve the best interest of the County The County's Designated Point of Contact for this IFB is Sherrie Ashby, Procurement Coordinator, St. Johns County Purchasing Division.
