Site work for a civil project in Chiloquin, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This Project is being funded in part through the Oregon Business Development Department - Infrastructure Finance Authority - Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund Program, Oregon Water Resources Department, and Oregon Community Development Block Grant. Federal law requires that projects financed in part through the Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund only utilize iron and steel products produced in the United States. All iron and steel products or materials provided for the project by Contractor, a Subcontractor, or supplier shall be produced in the United States. Contractor will be required to demonstrate prior to award of the Contract that all iron and steel products intended for use in the project are produced in the United States. The Work to be performed under this Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. The purpose of Section 3 is to ensure that employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by Section 3 shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. The Work under this Contract is also subject to the requirements of the federal Fair Share Program implementing the six good-faith efforts. Documentation demonstrating that these six good faith efforts have been taken will be required to be submitted with Bid. The Contractor will be subject to the Davis-Bacon Act (40USC276a) and the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870 (the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law). Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder must be licensed in accordance with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board rules and regulations. To Bid on a federally funded Project all Bidders must be registered with SAM (System for Award Management) prior to Bid opening as required by funding Agency.
