The City of Baytown is seeking qualified for the hyperchlorination and application of Floran to the City of Baytown’s elevated storage tanks. The object is to disinfect the tanks, ensuring compliance with TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) Rules and Regulations for Public Water Systems, and to improve water quality in the distribution system. All storage tanks shall include an inspection to assess their current condition, and identify any structural concerns. The awarded vendor shall document the initial condition of the tanks, any structural concerns, and the results of all inspections. The inspection IS NOT to be included with this RFP response. The inspection is part of the project.
