The Board of County Commissioners of Kingf sher County will receive sealed bids for labor, material, equipment, and insurance necessary to complete the demolition and removal of the County Annex Building. a Cashiers Check, a certifed check, or a surety bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of base bid as a guaranty, shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders and successful bidders, upon approval of the contract and submission of a 100% Performance Bond, a 100% Statutory Bond, and 100% Maintenance Bond. Provide 6' chain link fence around the perimeter ofthe building prior to demolition. o Provide temporary barriers to protect the parking lot. o Remove any combustible debris from the building prior to structural demolition. o Demolish and remove two-story building, an elevator and basement including the concrete foundations. o The building is not empty, any contents still in the building upon award ofthe bid are part ofthe demolition. o Remove the concrete foundations a minimum of 3' below the basement floor, everything associated with the elevator is to be removed. o All sewer lines are to be capped off. (4 locations) o Remove the concrete sidewalks, stairs, handicap ramp and landings around the perimeter ofthe building. o Remove the antenna from the top ofthe building. o Provide water to minimize dust from demolition. o All debris must be hauled to a licensed landfill. o Area of demolition will be back filled upon completion. Back fill is not to include any sand or shale. o Proposal to include all landfill fees, a demolition permit. The Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
