Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pineville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
A sidewalk with 2'-6" concrete curb and gutter is proposed on the west side of South Polk Street, beginning at Lowry Street, and ending at the existing sidewalk near Town Centre Blvd (approximately 450 linear feet). Storm drainage improvements will be designed as necessary to convey runoff. This proposal assumes the typical curb and sidewalk section will not have adequate area to remain in the existing right of way and will require disturbance of the adjacent embankment. Additional right-of-way, retaining wall design, and major utility relocation may be required to install the proposed sidewalk. Adjustments to the intersection signalization will be required to accommodate pedestrian crossing of Lowry Street to the new sidewalk. Deadline for all Questions October 7, 2024. Clarification of Submittal The Town reserves the right to obtain clarification of any point in a firm's proposal or to obtain additional information. The town reserves the right to reject any or all responses to the RFQ, to advertise for new responses, or to accept any responses deemed to be in the best interest of the town. The town reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities.
