Development of the port of Bécancour. Construction of a new quay (quay B-6), including the development of a tugboat berth; expansion of storage areas of 70,000 m2 (south of the future quay B6). TIMELINE: The preliminary design and environmental impact studies are underway. The final report with estimated construction cost is to be deposited by June, 2026. Preliminary design is to be completed in Q2, 2026. Design is expected to be carried out during Q3-Q4 2026. Provincial order obtained: Q2 2027. Ministerial authorization applications: Q2-Q3 2027. Construction (subject to environmental assessment approvals): Q4 2027. Further update in fall, 2026. Note: this project is a part of Horizon Becancour Project.
