Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 16,630-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
This Negotiated Request for Proposals ("NRFP") invites interested suppliers to submit Proposals to enter into a Contract with the Province for the construction of a new precast concrete building at 2783 Airport Way, Revelstoke BC V0E 2S3 (the "Project"). This Project involves constructing a two-story structure with a total surface area of 1,545 m2 (16,630 ft2), designed to accommodate BC Wildfire personnel. The Ministry has an existing project plan intended for conventional wood and steel frame construction. This project plan is provided in this NRFP for informational purposes only. The Contractor is expected to utilize this existing plan as the basis for planning and design of an alternative precast concrete building system with similar layout, amenities and finishing, with offsite manufacturing and erection of prefabricated components for the new building. The Ministry will provide an engineering consultant team to assist the Contractor for design approval, guidance and support as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
