The Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union seeks selected firms to propose on the design, bidding, and construction administration for associated improvements to the Mount Anthony Union High School kitchen and servery. Please email Amanda.Webber@svsu.org PROJECT DESCRIPTION Originally built in the 1960's, the Mount Anthony Union High School (MAUHS) is a 297,435 gsf, concrete and masonry, 3-story building, and is home to approximately 925 students. The Abbey Group at the MAUHS kitchen approximately cooks and serves over 40,000 breakfasts and 85,000 lunches to students, faculty, and staff during the school year. In addition, the space serves an additional 2,500 supper meals and 3,000 summer meals in its cafeteria. The HS kitchen and servery are significantly dated with some pieces of equipment original to the building. It is SVSU's goal to have both the physical space(s) and operational processes studied with recommendations and design necessary to bring the facility to present-day industry standards.
