Site work for a civil project in Dickinson, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

State Water Commission (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: SOUTHWEST WATER TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION SWPP Mailed Bids shall be addressed to Justin Froseth, P.E., North Dakota Department of Water Resources (NDDWR), with an internal envelope containing the bid clearly indicated to be a Sealed Bid for Southwest Water Treatment Plant Expansion. The Project includes the following Work: The scope of WORK generally consists of the construction of a 140 ft. by 210 ft. reinforced concrete and pre-cast concrete building and the installation of pumping, piping, dewatering equipment, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems for the Southwest Water Treatment Plant Expansion as required by the Contract Documents and General Requirements. The project is located at 735 Broadway W. in the City of Dickinson, North Dakota. Separate Bid Schedules and Scopes of Work are provided under this Project for the General, Mechanical, and Electrical Contracts. A Combined Single Bid is also provided under the Project to encompass all individual Scopes of Work. The Work classifications are as follows: General Construction - Includes but is not limited to: earthwork and steel reinforced concrete construction associated with footings, basin walls, lower level exterior walls, floors, columns, shored floor slabs; site earthwork; site piping; furnishing and installing pre-cast concrete wall panels; furnishing and installing steel roof Joists and decking; EPDM membrane roof system; furnishing and installing a general purpose hoist; installing owner purchased membrane filtration and high-rate softening equipment (two each concrete rapid mix, reactor, and softening clarifier basins to be constructed as part of this contract); furnishing and installing six (6) nominal 90 HP vertical turbine pumps; furnishing and installing two CO 2 feed systems complete with all components necessary for operation including a single 50 ton storage tank, heaters, CO 2 gas piping, instrumentation and controls equipment, programmable logic controllers, and pumps; furnish and install compressed air system equipment including compressors, receivers, piping, and appurtenances; furnish and install chemical feed systems including tanks, scales, pumps, piping and appurtenances; furnish and install process piping, pipe supports, valves, flow meters, appurtenances, and penetrations; install site piping; prefabricated steel underground pump station, stoops, exterior generator and electrical transformer support pads and foundations, secant piles to protect existing lime silo foundation, install lime silo foundation, and paving. A bid alternate is included for furnishing and installing a 110-ton external bulk lime silo, pebble lime feed system, batch lime slaking, and slaked lime circulation and feed system. A second bid alternate is included for replacing door hardware in an existing acid room. Mechanical Construction - Includes but is not limited to: furnishing and installing potable water and sanitary plumbing and plumbing fixtures with hangers and supports in the facility; furnishing and installing all heating, ventilation, dehumidification, cooling systems, and controls and support systems; furnishing and installing fire sprinkler system with support systems. A Mechanical bid alternate is included for replacing existing steel HVAC ductwork with CPVC ductwork in an existing acid room of the existing Southwest WTP. Electrical Construction - Includes but is not limited to: Furnishing and installing all power, lighting, electrical distribution and emergency power panels, MCC's, VFD's, and associated equipment; furnishing and installing all wiring and field connections to and for electrical items supplied under the General and Mechanical contracts and Owner purchased equipment; furnish and install 750 KW diesel powered standby engine generator with support slab and ATS; installation of devices for fire alarm system expansion, installation of instrumentation and control equipment for all process and owner furnished equipment; furnish and install lightning protection system; perform short circuit and protective device coordination study and arc flash hazard analysis, perform field testing. An Electrical bid alternate is included for a 1,000 KW standby generator with support slab. The Project has a Substantial Completion date of December 31, 2027. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the North Dakota State Water Commission. Bidders shall submit proof of qualification to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. The Issuing Office for paper copies of the Bidding Documents is: Bartlett & West/AECOM 3456 E Century Avenue Bismarck ND, 58503 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office or designated website.
