The Project consists of: Construction of a new 750 GPM Water Well (2,200 deep) including a 2,500 deep Test Hole, Test Well, Production Well (420x12 outer casing/1,700x8 inner casing/80x6 SS Screen); Vertical Turbine Pump Assembly (750 gpm @ 250 TDH); Chlorine Disinfection; Mn Sequestration; Yard Piping; Electrical Work; Emergency Electrical Generator; and related work including Limestone, PC Concrete paving (6 thick), Miscellaneous Clearing, Sitework, & Erosion Control; all located on an existing site on the east side of LA1062 West about 0.7 mile north of LA40 (Loranger), and all associated and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Construction Budget: $2,650,450 Contract Term: 365 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the Executive Director, Tangipahoa Water District; 46463 N. Morrison Boulevard; Hammond, LA 70401. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents shall be obtained from the I Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Spangler Engineering, LLC. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
