The intent of this Contract is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of work described. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Lines and grades will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Sufficient benchmarks have been provided on the contract plans to perform the work in this proposal. The work of this project shall include, but not be limited to Paving of 2024 Municipal Aid Oldmans Township New Road All bids submitted to the Township must comply with the provisions of the Notice to Bidders, Instructions to Bidders, and Specifications issued therefore; and the statutory requirements of the Local Public Contracts Law on file in the office of the Township Clerk. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (affirmative action requirements) and the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective AUGUST 1, 1964, along with the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act" P.L 1999, C. 238. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate and shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope, addressed to "Township Clerk, OLDMANS Township, New Jersey", and plainly marked on the outside "2024 MUNICIPAL AID OLDMANS TOWNSHIP NEW ROAD" with the name of the bidder, and be delivered to the Office of the Township Clerk, Municipal Building, 40 Freed Road, Pedricktown, NJ 08067
