Weber County is seeking Requests for Proposal to provide professional engineering, design, and construction services for the LMSA Wastewater Lagoon Rehabilitation Project (Project). This project aims to upgrade the existing wastewater lagoon system to meet Utah Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (UPDES) permit requirements and all applicable water quality standards. In addition to engineering and design services, the project will include a comprehensive Design-Bid-Build process to ensure the successful rehabilitation and upgrade of the lagoon system. Description Professional engineering online incl civil engineering, landscape consulting, programming/master planning, architectural & engineering design/consulting, inspection certification online, testing/geotechnical, hazardous materials service, commissioning online Nonresidential building construction services including commercial and office building new construction services and construction services and renovation and repair services Industrial building and warehouse construction services including new industrial building construction services and remodeling services and industrial plant construction services, tank installation and removal and disposal and related services Construction services including sewer maintenance and repair, roads and highways and excavation and backfill services, levee and dam construction and digging, ditching, road grading, rock stabilization, equipment rental or lease, and energy conservation Specialized trade construction and maintenance services and equipment including elevator install and maintenance services and athletic facilities and golf courses and recreational enclosures Management advisory services and consulting including project management and industrial management and construction management and quality assurance DFCM Division Facilities and Construction and Managment All questions must be asked through LMSA has identified the following potential upgrades for the project: new mechanical aeration, flow meters, chemical dosing, replacement of existing UV disinfection, and other miscellaneous facility improvements. The timeline for project completion is critical as LMSA has secured ARPA grant funding to finance this project. The project will follow a Design-Bid-Build process, requiring a collaborative approach through design, bidding, and construction phases. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end solution, including construction administration and project management through the final build-out of the lagoon rehabilitation.
