Willow Pass Road Bike Lane Connection. The City has established a DBE goal for this contract of 20%. No proposal will be accepted from or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears; or is in default to the CITY upon any debt or contract; or that is a defaulter, as surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the CITY; or has failed to faithfully perform any previous contract with the CITY. The CITY will competitively solicit proposals and award a contract to the CONSULTANT with the mostdemonstrated competence and professional experience. The Willow Pass Road Cycle Track (City Project No. 2572, Federal Project No. STPL-5135 (067)) (Project) scope includes preparing bid documents (PS&E), as well as assistance with public outreach, and providing support during construction. The Project will construct a protected Class IV bike lane (Cycle Track) along Willow Pass Road from Parkside Drive to Landana Drive and Class II bicycle lanes on Parkside Drive from Willow Pass Road to Salvio Street. The Project will also install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) and green bike/vehicle conflict markings at key intersections. Existing infrastructure (intersections, bus stops, driveways, parking, utilities, etc.) will need adjusting to accommodate the Cycle Track.
