Town of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina is seeking prequalification statements from General Contractors for the Sanford WFF Conveyance to Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs - Transmission Main. This project will be bid as a Single Prime contract. Any contractor wishing to be prequalified for the work must complete this application and be approved by the Town of Fuquay-Varina for bidding. The project includes the following: 1. 71,000 LF of 36-inch Transmission Main 2. Trenchless crossings of NCDOT roads, a railroad, and the Cape Fear River The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required. The name and address and the NC Contractor's License Number of the Bidder must be plainly written on the outside of the envelope, and the envelope marked "Sanford WFF Conveyance to Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs Transmission Main Prequalification Application". The OWNER reserves the right to reject any Proposal for failure to comply with all requirements of this Notice or of any of the Prequalification Application requirements; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion. The OWNER further reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Prequalification Applications, including any Addendum, obtained from any other source. Bidders must certify that they do not and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on a basis of race, color, creed or national origin, and so certify with the form included in the Proposal.
