The contractor shall provide athletic field services to maintain synthetic turf sports fields. This includes four service visits per year, with one visit every three months for each field. During each visit, the contractor will perform the following tasks: 1. General Sweep: Removal of foreign objects such as dirt, leaves, bird droppings, gum, sunflower seeds, and other debris that may accumulate on the field surface. 2. Magnet Sweep: The field will also be swept with a magnet to remove any metallic objects that may pose a hazard or damage the turf. 3. Deep Groom, Sweep, and Rejuvenation: The contractor will decompact the infill to maintain the appropriate G-Max level, which includes decompaction, brushing, and infill cleaning using a vacuum rotary brush, followed by fine grooming with a power surface brush. 4. Inspection and Analysis: Each field will undergo a comprehensive inspection and analysis, covering infill depth and consistency, infill migration, field edging attachments, sewn and glued seams, line verification, and field inserts. A pre-and post-visit written summary will be provided for each inspection, detailing the findings and any actions taken. 5. Minor Repairs: Each visit will include up to 8 minor repairs, addressing issues such as sewing/adhesive failures, inlay separation, and general surface workmanship, covering up to 15 linear feet or square feet. Any major repairs or maintenance required due to abnormal wear and tear, abuse, vandalism, or neglect will incur additional costs.
