The Project generally includes three contracts involving the following: Contract 1- water distribution system replacement with approximately 52,384 feet of 4-inch through 8-inch waterlines, fire/flush hydrants, gate valves, and tie-ins to existing system Contract 2 -- Treatment plant and Well #2 rehabilitation including the well discharge piping, chlorine room, filter valves, filter piping, head tank coating, controls, metering, chemical feed equipment, electrical, and all accessories. Properly abandon Well No. 1 in accordance with DNR requirements. Contract 3 -- 250,000 gallon elevated and two ground storage tank rehabilitation and painting. Bids shall be a combination of lump sum and unit prices. Three contracts will be awarded for all work. Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders should note the requirements for OSHA training of workmen and the requirements prohibiting the employment of unauthorized aliens prohibited including the submission of an Affidavit of Work Authorization with their bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
