OVERVIEW The City of Henderson, Nevada, ("City") is soliciting responses from qualified firms ("Bidder") to clean and repair the outdoor pool deck at the Henderson Multigenerational Center located at 250 S Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, Nevada. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 10/16/2024 03:00:00 PM (ET). SCHEDULE: Upon execution of the Contract the City will issue the Contractor a formal Notice to Proceed and/or a Purchase Order. The competition pool segment of this project must be finalized, and the area made available for swimmers, no later than February 1, 2025. All remaining Work shall be fully completed by June 1, 2025. Contractor will be required to submit a schedule within ten (10) days of Contract execution for approval. Coordination with the City staff should commence immediately following the notice of award. DAMAGES: In the event of failure on the part of the Contractor to complete the Work within the time specified for substantial completion, or within such additional time as may be granted by written approval of the City, the Contractor shall pay to the City, as liquidated damages, the amount of Three Hundred ($300.00) for each day of delay until the Work is completed, this includes failure to move the modular building from the current location within the specified timeframe. This applies to Work to be completed by February 1, 2025, and final completion by June 1, 2025. This sum shall not be construed as constituting a penalty, but shall be considered reimbursement, in part, to the City for additional cost of inspections, management, administrative, consultant services, etc., and for loss of the use of the completed Work. AWARD The City will award to the Bidder who submits the Bid deemed to be most advantageous to the City. This may include, but not limited to, price, conformity to specifications, financial ability to meet the Contract, previous performance, facilities and equipment, experience, overall schedule, delivery promise, other costs, other objectives and accountable factors which are reasonable. A bid security must be included with the Bid in the form of an original bid bond, by a good and solvent surety company authorized and licensed to transact business in the State of Nevada, a certified check, a cashier's check, or a money order in the name of the City, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, including all alternates. The cost of bid security shall be included in the Bid.
